Kenley is a one year old medium sized, very friendly crossbreed looking for a special home. He is a bouncy, lively boy who will need an experienced owner to continue to work on his training, which he is currently excelling at. Kenley is quick to learn, walking well on the lead and happily travels in the car. He is enthusiastic and confident, but can sometimes get over excited, so will need to be rehomed in an adult only home.  Kenley will need an owner who has time to provide him with lots of physical and mental exercise; which our behaviourist will be happy to help with any potential adoptee.  He mixes well with other dogs at the branch, walking with them daily and he loves to please. Kenley will make a very loving and loyal companion.

Meet our shy boy Bernard. He is staying in a foster home, where he is slowly settling in. He enjoys sitting on the windowsill and looking out. He is a very clean boy and he loves his food! Bernard would suit a quiet home where he will be given time to settle in. As Bernie has had a couple of injuries from other cats we are looking for a home where there are not many other cats in the neighbourhood. He is over 10 years old he qualifies for our elderly animal rehoming scheme, which has lots of benefits for people adopting in the Halifax/Huddersfield area.

If you can offer Kenley or Bernard their forever home, please contact the centre to arrange a viewing. The excellent news is that last month’s featured cat Felicity has been rehomed. Magic the dog sadly has not, but fame does beckon as he will be featured on TV’s Dog Rescuers (either the Christmas special or in the New Year).
